Goals

FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOODS.

FOR OUR FAMILIES.

DEDICATED TO PUBLIC SERVICE

County Commissioner Michael Naft has made Clark County home for more than 25 years. Since his appointment by Governor Steve Sisolak in 2019, Michael has been committed to providing the same high level of assistance that he has delivered throughout his career in public service. Michael’s priorities include improving roadways and pedestrian safety, streamlining access to County services and supporting law enforcement efforts to reduce crime.

FOR SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

District A has experienced tremendous growth in recent years and Michael has worked hard to bring together neighbors and developers to achieve desirable outcomes for our community. He values sustainable growth and requires builders to consider improved landscaping, architectural enhancements, and public safety when going through the zoning and land use process.

Michael believes that future development should compliment our community and he has balanced innovative development with what is appropriate for existing neighborhoods.

PUBLIC SAFETY COMES FIRST

Michael is committed to ensuring first responders have the tools they need to protect us. He is a champion of innovative crime-fighting technologies and helped secure funding for “ShotSpotter”, a system that detects gunfire and alerts police in real time.

That is why Michael has earned the endorsement of dozens of law enforcement organizations representing more than 4,000 first responders, including police and firefighters.
